BITCOL employs a unique quality control and quality assurance program to ensure our products meet and exceed the target technical specifications.

BITCOL’s Quality Laboratories at Kosi and Nilakottai are fully equipped for testing products over the full range of BIS, ASTM, and AASHTO specifications. 

BITCOL has made significant investments in advanced and automated instrumentation in our laboratories that eliminate human error. Our quality analysts and engineers hold internationally recognised certification for proficiency in testing of various modified bitumen binders. 

• Paving Grade Bitumen: Viscosity Grading IS73:2014, Penetration grading to IS73:1992, ASTMD946 and AASHTO M20

• Polymer Modified Bitumen: BIS IS15462:2019, IS15462:2004, IRC SP53:2010, ASTM D6373, ASTM D8239 and AASHTO M320

• Crumb Rubber Modified Bitumen: BIS IS 17079:2019

• Bitumen Emulsions and Modified Bitumen Emulsions: BIS IS 8887 2018, IS 17016:2018, ASTM D2397 and D977
