BITCOL’S FLAGShIP PLANTs (KOSI & NiLAKOTTAI) FOR MANUFACTURING OF VALUE-ADDED BITUMEN PRODUCTS
BITCOL operates two state-of-the-art, fully automatic and computerized Emulsion and Modified Bitumen plants. Our first plant is at Kosi, near Mathura in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The second plant is at Neelakotai in the state of Tamil Nadu.
We manufacture various types of value-added bitumen products including Polymer Modified Bitumen (PMB) and Crumb Rubber Modified Bitumen (CRMB), and Emulsions. Our products are produced with the highest manufacturing standards to fully comply with national specifications.
In the near future, BITCOL is planning to set up a number of additional manufacturing plants at various locations across India to serve the customers with value-added Bitumen products.
Key elements of BITCOL’s manufacturing facilities include:
Segregated storage for base bitumen of varied sources and grades
All tanks with automatic controllers for monitoring and control of storage conditions
Sophisticated plants with German high-shear mills, advanced process control systems for precision control on the dosage of polymers and additives, the strict control of operating parameters such as temperature, pressure, and flow rates
Control system based on PLC controllers, and a data logging system operated through computers with the ability to provide traceability
Dedicated tanker loading gantries for hot bulk PMB and CRMB
Separate tanker loading gantries for bulk Bitumen Emulsions.
Drum filling facility for various grades of Bitumen emulsions with automatic weight control
Calibrated weigh-bridge with a digital load cell for weighment of truck tankers up to 100 Metric Tons Capacity
