About BITCOL India

 

Bitumen Corporation (India) Private Ltd. (BITCOL) was established to support the road-building industry in India through the supply of high quality imported bulk bitumen. Our core activity is the supply of bulk & packed bitumen, as well as the manufacture & supply of modified/value-added bitumen products.

BITCOL operates storage tank terminals at various port locations across India for receipt, storage, and delivery of liquid hot bulk bitumen imports. Currently, we have seven terminals - four on the West Coast and three on the East Coast. We are therefore able to efficiently deliver bitumen across India at competitive rates. 

Bulk terminals on the West Coast include Mundra, Mumbai, Karwar and Mangalore. On the East Coast, we have bulk terminals at Haldia, Kakinada and Karaikal. We also offer packed (drum) bitumen from JNPT, Mumbai & Haldia.

Our bitumen is stringently tested prior to shipment from the load-port, and again after receipt into our storage tanks. Our buyers can therefore be confident that the product supplied from our tanks will meet the full specifications. Our commitment to quality is reflected in the fact that BITCOL is the only company that has supplied all three major Indian PSU companies, namely Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL).

We are one of India's largest bitumen suppliers and we continue to take the lead in shaping the ‘Greater Connectivity’ landscape by focusing on providing our customers with quality products and services. We are proud to be part of the team that achieved a world record in laying a stretch of 39.691KM of single-lane bitumen road in 24 hours in Maharashtra.
